ocip last meeting on the 12th jan;a memorable one.
it was great to see almost everyone once again.i personally felt great and watching the vid that the editorial team did for us, it brought back alot of wonderful memories((: heh, did somemore reflection and we played a mini game.all of us were asked to squat down and close our eyes.rule no 1:do not cheat.rule no2: if we were tapped once, repeat the rules.rule no3, if we were tapped twice, stand up but with yr eyes closed.rule no4:if we were tapped thrice, stand up and do whatever you want.during the game, it was fun listening to those who kept chanting the rules.some were given the chance to whatever they want.however, the ultimate aim of the game is to teach us to question the authority of others. for instance we have to question why sometimes we have to do this, and not just to follow the instructions blindly without knowing whats going on.it has taught me never to succumb to peer pressure,and to follow my heart and mind in whatever things that i am gng to do.and also, do not ever underestimate what little or big impact one's actions has on others.many of us felt that we had learnt alot from the trip, the thai people, and we had rendered very little service during that short period of time.sometimes things do not always work that way, we have to look beyond that.our little actions may have chain effects for their studies in future, we may have inspired them to become future leaders of their society.who knows?it made me come to a realisation that our every actions, even if they are discrete,will has an impact on other people.so,every action counts ay.the teachers showed us alil video!it showed us motivational quotes, and taught us to live life to the fullest.really hope i can get the vid from mr lim ay.hee.the meeting ended with a friendship dance and surprise for the teachers=D
